The body of a young man was discovered near the New Vegetable Market in Siwan town, causing a stir in the area. The deceased has been identified as Sajid Ali, 22, a resident of Sahuli village under Hussainganj police station. According to information, Sajid Ali had come to Siwan to participate in the Muharram procession. During the procession, he had an altercation with some individuals, after which he went missing.

His family had been searching for him. Meanwhile, on Thursday morning, news broke about a body being found near the New Vegetable Market. Police arrived at the scene, took the body into custody, and attempted to identify it. Family members identified the body as Sajid Ali. The family alleges that Sajid was murdered and his body was dumped there. Police have sent the body to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

Police are seriously investigating the matter. Preliminary information suggests injury marks on Sajid's head, strengthening the suspicion of murder. Police are scanning nearby CCTV footage and searching for the individuals with whom Sajid had the altercation.
