Three individuals were arrested in Siwan district's Nautan police station area during a vehicle inspection drive. The arrests were made at two different locations along the Uttar Pradesh-Bihar border. According to the police, the individuals were found to be under the influence of alcohol while coming from the UP side.

Station House Officer Jeetmohan Kumar stated that medical examinations conducted after their detention confirmed the presence of alcohol in their systems. The arrested individuals have been identified as Rajkishore Sah from Bishunpura village, Paramjeet Sharma from Gambhirpur village, and Hareram Prasad from Nautan. The police have registered cases against them under relevant sections and initiated further legal proceedings. This operation is part of an ongoing effort to enforce the liquor ban effectively in the border regions.
