Selection trials for the Eklavya Center Taekwondo and District Center of Excellence were held at BSS Collegiate School in Begusarai. A large number of athletes from various districts of Bihar enthusiastically participated in the trials, showcasing their sports talent.

For the Eklavya Center, a total of 27 players, including 6 female athletes, took part in the trials. Similarly, for the District Center of Excellence, 28 players, including 9 female athletes, underwent trials. A battery test was conducted during the trials to assess the physical capabilities of the players. PTIs deputed by the District Sports Office administered these tests.

Additionally, BSSA coach Vivek Prakash and Khelo India coach Sushil Kumar were present for the Taekwondo skill test. Both coaches meticulously evaluated the players' Taekwondo techniques, skills, and overall performance. The entire organization and supervision of the trials were overseen by District Sports Officer Bittu Kumar Singh. Athletes from various districts of Bihar participated with great enthusiasm, demonstrating their potential. These selection trials represent a significant step towards providing talented Taekwondo players in the state with better training, facilities, and opportunities to advance in the field of sports.
