A major accident was averted in Wazirganj block of Gaya district when a teenager climbed a 1.33 lakh volt high-tension electricity tower. Due to the alertness of local residents and the prompt action of the electricity department, the teenager was safely brought down. According to information, the incident occurred near Wazirganj market. The teenager is reported to be mentally unstable. As soon as people saw him climbing the tower, they immediately raised an alarm and informed the electricity department. The electricity department promptly cut off the power supply to that line, thereby preventing a major mishap. Local police also arrived at the scene and assisted in bringing the teenager down safely. The incident created a tense atmosphere in the area for some time. The teenager's family has been informed, and he has been handed over to them.
