Begusarai: Teghra MLA Rajnish Kumar met with Dr. Pramod Chandravanshi, Bihar's Minister of Art and Culture, on Thursday. The primary objective of the meeting was to discuss in detail the grand and historic organization of the 'Shri Krishna Janmashtami Centenary Festival', which will mark the 100th year of Teghra's historic Shri Krishna Janmashtami Fair.

MLA Rajnish Kumar informed the Minister that this year, the renowned Shri Krishna Janmashtami Fair of Teghra is entering its centenary year. He emphasized that for decades, this fair has been a symbol of faith, culture, and social harmony, holding a distinct identity not only in Bihar but across the entire country.

During the meeting, extensive discussions were held on how to give a grand form to the centenary festival with the support of the state government, organize various cultural programs, and make necessary arrangements in accordance with the fair's historical dignity. Several important aspects were also deliberated upon to ensure that this event gains special recognition at the state level.

MLA Rajnish Kumar expressed confidence that with the cooperation of the Bihar government and widespread public participation, the Shri Krishna Janmashtami Centenary Festival in Teghra will become a memorable and historic event. He stated that this festival would bring national recognition to Teghra's rich cultural heritage, providing a broader platform for the region's glorious traditions and cultural legacy.
