Two youths on a motorcycle were seriously injured in a road accident on Saturday evening near the ILFS plant on the Singheshwar-Pipra main road in Madhepura. The accident occurred when they attempted to save a buffalo that suddenly came onto the road. The injured have been identified as Umesh Kumar, 22, son of Ramesh Chaudhary, resident of Budhawe Ward No. 15 of Bahri Panchayat, and Sudhir Kumar, 22, son of Ramchandra Sah, resident of Singheshwar Ward No. 1.

According to eyewitnesses, both youths were returning home on their Apache bike when a buffalo suddenly appeared on the road. In an attempt to avoid hitting the buffalo, the bike lost control and fell, causing serious injuries to both riders. Local residents immediately rushed them to the medical college. Due to their critical condition, doctors at the medical college referred them to a higher center for further treatment. Upon receiving information about the incident, the Dial 112 team arrived at the scene and took possession of the damaged motorcycle.
