पूर्वी चंपारण ताइक्वांडो एसोसिएशन के तत्वावधान में मोतिहारी के आर्या विद्यापीठ, रघुनाथपुर, बलगाँव में आयोजित 36वीं बिहार स्टेट ताइक्वांडो चैंपियनशिप और पुमसे चैंपियनशिप में बेगूसराय स्थित उड़ान इंटरनेशनल स्कूल, केशावे के खिलाड़ियों ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए कुल चार पदक हासिल किए।
प्रतियोगिता में सब-जूनियर वर्ग के अंडर-29 किलोग्राम भार वर्ग में कक्षा 7 के छात्र ऋषभ राज ने स्वर्ण पदक जीतकर विद्यालय का मान बढ़ाया। इसी तरह, अंडर-65 किलोग्राम भार वर्ग में शिवम कुमार ने भी स्वर्ण पदक अपने नाम किया। कैडेट वर्ग के अंडर-61 किलोग्राम भार वर्ग में कक्षा 9 के पीयूष कुमार उर्फ अभिनव कुमार ने रजत पदक प्राप्त किया, जबकि सब-जूनियर गर्ल्स अंडर-35 किलोग्राम भार वर्ग में सोनम कुमारी ने कांस्य पदक हासिल किया।
इस उपलब्धि पर विद्यालय के निदेशक सुमन सौरभ ने खिलाड़ियों को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि खेल विद्यार्थियों में अनुशासन, आत्मविश्वास, धैर्य और नेतृत्व क्षमता जैसे गुणों का विकास करता है। उन्होंने इसे कड़ी मेहनत, लगन और दृढ़ संकल्प का परिणाम बताया। प्रधानाचार्य सीमांतो राय ने इसे पूरे विद्यालय परिवार के लिए गर्व का क्षण बताते हुए भविष्य में राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर बेहतर प्रदर्शन की उम्मीद जताई। ताइक्वांडो प्रशिक्षक अनिल कुमार तांती और विद्यालय खेल प्रभारी अभिनव कुमार की भूमिका को अहम बताया गया। विद्यालय के उप-प्रधानाचार्य अमित कुमार पांडे, उप-प्रधानाचार्या गार्गी चौधरी, प्रबंधन समिति के विभु ओझा, तारकेश्वर झा, अमित कुमार सिंह, संस्कृत विभागाध्यक्ष और मीडिया प्रभारी हीरा राय सहित सभी शिक्षकों और शिक्षकेतर कर्मचारियों ने विजेता खिलाड़ियों और प्रशिक्षक को शुभकामनाएं दीं।
Students from Udaan International School, Keshave, Begusarai, showcased an impressive performance at the 36th Bihar State Taekwondo Championship and Poomsae Championship, held at Arya Vidyapeeth, Raghunathpur, Balgaon, Motihari, under the aegis of the East Champaran Taekwondo Association. The school's athletes secured a total of four medals, including two gold.
Rishabh Raj, a 7th-grade student, clinched a gold medal in the Sub-Junior Under-29 kg category. Shivam Kumar also won a gold medal in the Under-65 kg category. In the Cadet Under-61 kg category, Piyush Kumar alias Abhinav Kumar, a 9th-grade student, earned a silver medal. Sonam Kumari secured a bronze medal in the Sub-Junior Girls Under-35 kg category.
School Director Suman Saurabh congratulated the students, emphasizing that sports foster discipline, self-confidence, patience, and leadership skills. He attributed their success to hard work, dedication, and determination. Principal Simanto Rai expressed pride in the students' achievements at the state level and voiced hopes for even better performances at national and international competitions. The crucial roles of Taekwondo instructor Anil Kumar Tanti and school sports in-charge Abhinav Kumar were acknowledged. Deputy Principal Amit Kumar Pandey, Deputy Principal Gargi Chaudhary, management committee members, and other staff extended their best wishes to the winning athletes and their coaches.
