A tragic accident occurred at Sahebpur Kamal Railway Station in Begusarai district on Thursday morning around 9:30 AM. An unidentified woman, approximately 50 years old, died after being hit by the Pune-Supaul Express train, which was passing through the loop line on the Barauni-Katihar railway section.

According to eyewitnesses, the woman was present on platform number 2 when she suddenly fell and was struck by the passing train. The incident caused panic and commotion among passengers at the station premises.

Upon receiving information about the accident, RPF official Animesh Kishore immediately reached the spot. The seriously injured woman was rushed to the Community Health Center in Sahebpur Kamal, where doctors declared her dead after examination.

The identity of the deceased woman has not yet been established. The police have taken possession of the body and initiated the process for identification. Investigations into the cause of the incident are underway, and further legal action is being pursued.
