बलरामपुर: उतरौला में राजकीय कन्या इंटर कॉलेज के मुख्य द्वार के समीप स्थित अटल चौक पर भारत रत्न, पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री स्वर्गीय अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी की आदमकद प्रतिमा का अनावरण किया गया। यह प्रतिमा नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष सविता गुप्ता और चेयरमैन प्रतिनिधि अनूप चंद गुप्ता के प्रयासों से स्थापित की गई है। अनावरण समारोह में भाजपा के जिला नेतृत्व, क्षेत्रीय विधायक और बड़ी संख्या में स्थानीय नागरिक उपस्थित रहे। इस दौरान परिसर 'अटल जी अमर रहें' और 'भारत माता की जय' के नारों से गूंज उठा।
नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष सविता गुप्ता ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि अटल जी ने विश्व पटल पर भारत की प्रतिभा, अखंडता और एक भारत, श्रेष्ठ भारत की जो रूपरेखा तय की थी, वह आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए प्रेरणास्रोत है। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि यह प्रतिमा नगरवासियों को देशप्रेम और राष्ट्रसेवा की प्रेरणा देती रहेगी। चेयरमैन प्रतिनिधि अनूप चंद गुप्ता ने बताया कि उतरौला अटल जी की कर्मभूमि रही है, ऐसे में यहां उनकी प्रतिमा स्थापित होना पूरे नगर के लिए गर्व और सौभाग्य का विषय है।
विधायक रामप्रताप वर्मा ने अटल जी के सिद्धांतों के प्रति उनकी प्रतिबद्धता पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि उन्होंने सत्ता में बने रहने के लिए कभी सिद्धांतों से समझौता नहीं किया। उनका 'हार नहीं मानूंगा' का संदेश आज की युवा पीढ़ी के लिए मार्गदर्शन है। तुलसीपुर विधायक कैलाश नाथ शुक्ला ने अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी को केवल जननेता ही नहीं, बल्कि भारतीय राजनीति में शुचिता, राष्ट्रधर्म और लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों का संवाहक बताया। विधायक पल्टू राम ने पोखरण परमाणु परीक्षण के माध्यम से भारत की स्वावलंबी और सशक्त छवि को दुनिया के सामने रखने में अटल जी की भूमिका को सराहा। कार्यक्रम में जिलाध्यक्ष रवि कुमार मिश्र, पूर्व जिलाध्यक्ष चंद्र प्रकाश सिंह, गैंड़ास बुजुर्ग ब्लॉक प्रमुख राकेश तिवारी, गन्ना समिति चेयरमैन तोताराम वर्मा, ब्लॉक प्रमुख प्रतिनिधि महिपाल सिंह, भारत नरेश सिंह, अधिवक्ता संघ अध्यक्ष अखिलेश सिंह, व्यापार मंडल अध्यक्ष शिव कुमार गुप्त, सतीश गुप्ता, अशोक मिश्र, सालिक राम जायसवाल, बब्बू सिंह समेत सभी सभासद और सैकड़ों भाजपा कार्यकर्ता मौजूद रहे।
Balrampur: A life-size statue of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister, late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, was unveiled at Atal Chowk, near the main gate of Government Girls Inter College in Utraula. The installation of the statue was made possible through the efforts of Municipal Council President Savita Gupta and Chairman Representative Anoop Chand Gupta. The unveiling ceremony was attended by BJP district leadership, regional MLAs, and a large number of local citizens. The premises resonated with slogans like 'Atal Ji Amar Rahen' (Long Live Atal Ji) and 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' (Hail Mother India).
Addressing the gathering, Municipal Council President Savita Gupta stated that the blueprint for India's talent, integrity, and 'One India, Great India' laid out by Atal Ji on the world stage will continue to inspire future generations. She emphasized that the statue would instill patriotism and national service among the townspeople. Chairman Representative Anoop Chand Gupta remarked that Utraula was Atal Ji's 'Karmabhoomi' (land of work), making the installation of his statue here a matter of pride and good fortune for the entire town.
MLA Rampratap Verma highlighted Atal Ji's unwavering commitment to principles, noting that he never compromised on them for the sake of power. His message of 'I will not give up' serves as a guide for today's youth. Tulsipur MLA Kailash Nath Shukla described Atal Bihari Vajpayee not just as a people's leader but also as a torchbearer of purity, national duty, and democratic values in Indian politics. MLA Paltu Ram praised Atal Ji's role in presenting India's self-reliant and strong image to the world through the Pokhran nuclear tests. The event saw the presence of District President Ravi Kumar Mishra, former District President Chandra Prakash Singh, Gaidas Buzurg Block Head Rakesh Tiwari, Sugarcane Committee Chairman Totaram Verma, Block Head Representative Mahipal Singh, Bharat Naresh Singh, Advocates Association President Akhilesh Singh, Business Mandal President Shiv Kumar Gupta, Satish Gupta, Ashok Mishra, Salik Ram Jaiswal, Babbu Singh, along with all councilors and hundreds of BJP workers.
