On the second day of the Bachelor Semester-Five (2024-28 session) examinations at Veer Kunwar Singh University (VKSU), five students were caught impersonating others at the S.B. College examination center in Arrah on Tuesday. The university administration immediately expelled all of them.

What was most surprising in these cases was that the majority of the fake examinees apprehended were female students. In one particularly astonishing incident, a friend was caught taking the exam on behalf of a student who had been reported missing from home two weeks prior. The missing student's family had filed a complaint with the police regarding her disappearance. The police detained the student who was taking the exam and another friend from the center and handed them over to the Nawada police station.

Additionally, three other male students were also caught attempting to take exams in place of their friends. Examination Controller Prof. Lal Babu Singh confirmed the incidents, stating that all fake examinees were expelled after receiving reports from the college.

The examinations are being conducted in two shifts: the first shift from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM for Arts faculty, and the second shift from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM for Science and Commerce faculties. According to the university administration, the exams will continue until October 29. On Wednesday, the Minor-5 exam will be held, followed by the Minor-6 course exam on Thursday.
