A young man visiting the famous Karkatgarh waterfall in the Chainpur police station area of Bhabua district has accused a Forest Department employee of assault. On Friday, Vakil Kumar, 25, son of Guddu Ram, a resident of Kurasan village under Bhabua police station, reached the Forest Department office in an injured state and demanded appropriate action in the matter.

Injured Vakil Kumar stated that on August 8, he went to Karkatgarh waterfall with some friends. Upon arrival, they noticed a dispute between a Forest Department constable and another individual. Meanwhile, Vakil and his friends started inquiring about tickets. It is alleged that the Forest Department staff became agitated over this and began assaulting Vakil and his friends. During the assault, one finger on Vakil Kumar's left hand was severely injured, leaving him wounded. The victim has now sought justice and action against the accused forest employee.
