Power supply will be suspended for approximately five hours in the Raniganj block of Araria district on September 24. According to the electricity department, this cut is due to the construction work of the 33 KV New Parwaha feeder. The department has appealed to consumers to complete their essential tasks beforehand.

Nishant Kumar, Assistant Engineer of the Raniganj Electricity Department, stated that the construction of the 33 KV New Parwaha feeder, including the installation of new poles, will take place on September 24. For safety reasons, the supply from the Raniganj feeder will be shut down due to work near the power lines.

The power outage will affect all 11 KV feeders originating from the Raniganj, Bhargama, and Khajuri electricity substations. Areas connected to these feeders will experience a power cut from 11 AM to 4 PM. The department has urged consumers to complete their daily chores, such as charging mobile phones, preparing inverters, and running water motors, keeping the scheduled outage in mind. The electricity department confirmed that power supply would resume on schedule after the construction work is completed and has sought cooperation from consumers during this period.
