A grand Shakti Padayatra (power procession) was organized in Beldaur on Saturday, following a Shastra Pujan (weapon worship ceremony), under the aegis of the International Hindu Council and the National Women's Council-Ojaswini. The event commenced at the Shri Hanuman Temple, located at Thana Chowk, with the lighting of lamps and the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa. Devotees offered flowers to the image of Bharat Mata and chanted slogans.

Subsequently, the procession traversed the main thoroughfares of Beldaur, witnessing the participation of a large number of workers and devotees. Upon reaching the local Durga Temple, the traditional Shastra Pujan was performed with due rituals, and Prasad (offerings) was distributed. Addressing the gathering, Nitin Kumar alias Chunnu, the provincial president of Hindu Helpline North Bihar, stated that Shastra Pujan is a sacred resolve for counteracting injustice, self-defense, and protecting the vulnerable. He emphasized the necessity of restraint and discipline alongside strength. Anita Devi, the provincial president of the National Women's Council, highlighted the need to raise awareness among daughters about self-defense and create a positive environment for women's safety. Nagar Sabhapati Mamta Kumari termed such religious events as a powerful means to foster social unity and connect the younger generation with cultural values.
