Kishanganj. The District unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a protest on Monday in front of the local Town Hall against Congress MP Dr. Angamcha Bimol, burning his effigy. The demonstration was held to demand an impartial investigation into the allegations against the suspended professor-cum-MP, who is accused in a case of alleged sexual exploitation involving 11 female students at JNU.

The protest was chaired by District President Gopal Mohan Singh. He alleged that Congress leaders are attempting to protect the MP. Protesters also burned an effigy of Rahul Gandhi in connection with the case. The BJP District President demanded a thorough and impartial investigation, stating that strict action should be taken against the culprits.

District Vice President and member of the Bihar State Minority Commission, Shishir Das, also called for immediate action against those found guilty in the matter. BJP workers expressed their anger over this serious incident and raised their voices for justice.
