A theft has been reported at the Smart Online Hub store located near the Sub-Registry Office in Jagdishpur Nagar, within Bhojpur district. Unidentified thieves broke the lock of the shop and stole a battery, an inverter, and approximately ₹600 from the cash box. The incident is believed to have occurred on Wednesday late night.

On Thursday morning, local residents noticed the broken lock and immediately informed the shop owner, Aftab Alam. Alam, a resident of Ward No. 16, arrived at the scene to find the battery and inverter missing, along with the ₹600 from the cash drawer.

Following this, Aftab Alam reported the theft to Dial 112. A Dial 112 team promptly reached the spot and gathered information by questioning the shop owner and nearby residents. Alam has filed a written complaint at Jagdishpur Police Station, demanding action against the culprits.

The shop is situated in a busy area of the town, and this incident has heightened concerns among local shopkeepers and residents. People have raised questions about night patrolling and security arrangements in the area. The police are investigating the case based on the complaint and are working to identify the thieves.
