Two Home Guard jawans sustained serious injuries in a tragic road accident on the Katonwa Overbridge in Jamui district. The incident occurred when their motorcycle collided with a stationary tractor parked on the overbridge. The impact was severe, leaving both jawans badly wounded, with one reportedly in critical condition.

According to available information, the accident took place late at night on the Katonwa Overbridge. The two Home Guard jawans were returning home after completing their duty. Due to poor visibility on the overbridge and possibly the tractor being parked without proper indicators or reflectors, the bike rider failed to spot it and crashed directly into it. Hearing the collision, nearby residents rushed to the scene and transported the injured to the hospital immediately.

While the identities of the injured jawans have not yet been released, it is understood that one suffered severe head injuries and remains in a critical state. The other jawan also sustained multiple fractures. Local police arrived at the scene upon receiving information and have commenced an investigation. The tractor has been seized, and authorities are searching for its driver.
