A serious road accident occurred near Dakopda Chowk in Kishanganj district's Kochadhaman block. An unidentified truck collided forcefully with an e-rickshaw (toto), causing it to overturn. Two occupants of the e-rickshaw sustained serious injuries. Following the incident, a crowd gathered at the scene. Local residents promptly transported both injured individuals to Kishanganj Sadar Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

The injured have been identified as 25-year-old Sumit Kumar Singh and 15-year-old Mohit Kumar, both residents of Majgama village, under Majgama Panchayat in Amour police station area of Purnia district. It is reported that they were returning home to Majgama from Kishanganj when the truck collided with their e-rickshaw while attempting to overtake near Dakopda Chowk.

According to family members, the truck driver fled the scene after the accident. However, several hours later, he arrived at Kishanganj Sadar Hospital to inquire about the injured, which further angered the families. Presently, the truck driver is bearing the expenses of the treatment for both injured individuals. The families have not yet filed any written complaint or First Information Report (FIR) regarding the incident.
