A youth was seriously injured on Wednesday in a collision between two motorcycles on the Sikandra-Nawada main road in Jamui district. The injured has been identified as Ganga Kumar, son of Bipin Dubey, a resident of Gadi Bukar village under Jamui police station. Ganga Kumar was currently staying at his maternal grandmother's house in Anjunana village, under Chandradeep police station.

On Wednesday, Ganga Kumar was on his way to get his motorcycle washed from his grandmother's house. Near Chandradeep, his bike suddenly lost balance and collided with another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. The impact was severe, causing Ganga Kumar to fall on the road and sustain serious head injuries.

Local residents immediately rushed him to Aliganj PHC. Due to his critical condition, doctors at Aliganj PHC referred him to Jamui Sadar Hospital. His condition remained critical at Sadar Hospital, after which he was referred to Patna for better treatment. The person on the other motorcycle sustained minor injuries and received local treatment.
